Dear friends and colleagues,
We are excited to invite you to the 5th International Symposium on Phase-Field Modelling in Materials Science, PF24, that will take place May 19-23, 2024, in Hangzhou, China. This symposium is a must-attend event for experts, active researchers, newcomers, and those who are interested in the potential of phase-field methods and their applications. PF24 offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and explore cutting-edge research.
The first symposium, PF99, was held in Rolduc, Netherlands in 1999, followed by the second one, PF09, also in Rolduc Abbey in 2009. Since then, the symposium has been held every five years, with the third one taking place at PennState University, USA in 2014, and the fourth one in Bochum, Germany in 2019. Each of these symposia has been instrumental in advancing the field of phase-field modeling by bringing together researchers from around the world to share their latest research.
PF24 will continue this tradition by providing a forum for experts, active researchers and newcomers in the field to present their latest innovations, exchange ideas, and discuss future directions. More details about the program and registration will be announced in due course, but for now, please save the date May 19-23, 2024!
We can't wait to see you in Hangzhou for an inspiring and dynamic symposium that will shape the future of phase-field modeling.
Best regards,
